Enjoy a BBQ with a local Heathcote or Bendigo Shiraz

Play cricket, kick the soccer ball or throw a Frisbee
Have a quiet game of pool or darts
Go bird watching. Bring your binoculars and borrow the bird book to spot the dozens of native birds which abound the river and house areas.
(We have plans to build a bird hide in the near future)
Bring your paints, pencils or camera and take advantage of the beautiful river frontage and local area
Go fishing on the property. Rods and tackle supplied. Bait is usually available at the local store in Axedale
Sit quietly and see if you can spot a platypus!
Go for a walk, a short walk or a long walk
Have a round of golf nearby at the beautiful Axedale Golf Course ( 9 or 18 holes, your choice – a most scenic golf course)
Sight seeing – is a must
   
Visit Bendigo , 30 kms away (historic goldfields buildings, the famous Bendigo Pottery, the Talking Tram, fine dining, etc. etc. etc.)
Visit Heathcote (famous wine region) or Lake Eppalock
You are only 150 kms from Melbourne
Visit local wineries, olive groves or lavender farms in the local Heathcote or Bendigo areas
Bring a book or borrow one off the bookshelf
Sip a glorious local Shiraz in front of the cosy wood fire or on the shady verandah
Enjoy a Country Counter Meal at local pubs in country towns and a chat with the locals (10 kms)
Campaspe Farm House was established as self-contained accommodation in late 2006 and has all new furniture and appliances. It is a 55 year old cottage made primarily from Mt Gambier stone situated 100 metres from the road. The house is approximately 500-600 metres from the river.

Two toilets (one inside plus the traditional farm outhouse)

Bedroom 4 which is off bedroom 3 (with dividing door for privacy) has 2 single beds

Minimum stay of two nights.

$360 for 2 nights based on 5 guests plus $40 per extra guest per night. $340 for 2 nights based on 5 guests plus $40 per extra guest per night.

Gourmet Breakfast provisions with local produce on first day. Bottle of local Shiraz on arrival.

50% deposit on booking. Remaining 50% payable prior to stay plus $200 refundable Bond.

Build a Bird Hide near the river
Develop a large Vegetable Patch and Herb Garden for guests to help themselves
Plant more native shrubs and trees, fruit trees, olives and nut trees
Restore the River Bank area
Restore the old tennis court
Turn the old cow shed and dairy into a hen house and runs
